Friends and Relaxation

A customer from GILLINGHAM who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.

We lived in North Wales for 13 years and returned to visit friends. The spa hotel gave us the opportunity to relax between an exhausting schedule. The spa and treatments re-energised us for the return journey and getting back to the grind!

Wild Pheasant Hotel Llangollen

A customer from Shropshire who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.

Stayed at the Wild Pheasant Hotel in June for my niece's wedding, the staff were excellent, efficient, friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The rooms were good with all the facilities we might have needed.

Llangollen and the Dee Valley

A customer from Southampton who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.

We were favoured with great weather, and travelled from Ythe Hotel to Betws -y-Coed - our first visit there for many years. It was a little disappointing because of the commercial development, so on to Llanberis for the train up Snowdon - brilliant. We wish now that we had missed out Betws and had more time to see the many attractions of Llanderis. We then drove through the stunning Snowdon National Park. On out way back south we took the Welshpool route and spent an enjoyable couple pf hours at Powys Castle - a truly attractive National Trust property.

A Few Days of Peace and Quiet in Wales

A customer who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.

We ivisted this hotel,in a very convenient location, just outside LLangollen on the A5 (it's not noisy!) without the children and enjoyed three days of peace and quiet between Christmas and New Year. The hotel is attractive and has an old and new part. Our standard double room was in the old part, lovely outlook onto the courtyard, but the room was very mediocre and the mould around the bath was offputting. We enjoyed two delicious meals in the hotel restaurant, reasonably priced at 19.95GBP for three courses. Our grumble with regard to the food, was that the first breakfast took over 45 minutes to arrive (new chef we were told). A buffet style breakfast would have been more efficient rather than waitress service. The hotel spa, sauna and steam room were a treat, especially after a day out. The hotel is a half hour drive away from Bets y Coed, lovely small town, and great walks in that area. A few miles away is Horse Shoe Pass, another lovely place for walking, and good views.

Relaxing Pamper Stay

A customer from Merseyside who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.

The idea of the stay was to relax and spend quality time together so we did not leave the hotel. The Spa was great, the massage was excellent and staff were friendly. On arrival they took our lunch order and asked what time we would like it served then explained what would be happening the next few hours. The massage was so relaxing and we could not believe how quickly the time passed. After the massage our light lunch, which was anything but light, was served to us in the Courtyard. We had plenty of choice for our evening meal and the standard of food and service was excellent. Again there was plenty of choce for breakfast and the staff were very friendly and efficint. The room was clean and spacious with tea/coffee facilites and a TV the only criticism was the shower - it was at the wrong angle and far to close to the edge of the bath which meant that you could not stand directly underneath it. Overall the staff was really enjoyable and everything we wanted - well worth the money and would recommend.
