Weekend in Swansea
A customer from Nr Ludlow who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.
Good weather for watching The Who at Liberty Stadium in Swansea. Rhosilli Beach is just a wonderful place to visit. Go the Worms Head at your peril and don't ignore the warning notices about being cut off by the tide. Swansea City Centre on a Saturday night is an interesting place to be. Not my cup of tea though, lots of hen parties and very drunk people around.

Autumn in Swansea
A customer from HALESOWEN who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.
I was a student in Swansea 20 years ago - but it has changed enormously since then, mostly for the better! For a start the marina area has been developed, and it was an excellent place to be based, right in the middle of things. We were well served for the type of restaurants that suit a couple of nearly teenagers and a middle aged parent in nearby Wind Street - now the centre of Swansea nightlife. The weather on Saturday wasn't good enough for the beach - but there was plenty to occupy us without moving the car from the hotel car park. Although Plantasia looked as if it had seen better days, both the Waterfront Museum (plenty of hands on for the kids) and the Dylan Thomas Centre proved fascinating. Sunday saw an improvement in the weather and we were up and out early to see the Gower before travelling home. We took in Caswell and Oxwich - both old favourites of mine. Caswell was pleasantly sheltered and the kids proved that 12 is not too old to dig on the beach!

Swansea Marriott
A customer who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.
The hotel was situated in the Swansea Marina which was a nice location and within easy walking distance of town centre. had the feeling that as a superbreak customer and having possably a cheaper reservation that the staff were slightly less enthusiastic with me and my family in comparrison to how some other guests were treated. we were told when booking out that childrens breakfasts had to be paid for, which wasnt an issue as such, as booking through superbreak wasnt always the cheapest way in the long run. wasn't madly impressed with our room as they put us into a smoking room which i didnt mind too much but unfortunately the room really smelt of stale smoke, and i was told that we hadnt specified a no smoking room therefore it was our bad luck as they had no no smoking rooms available. i am not one to make waves and just put up with it but a simple air freshner sprayed or put into room for good will purposes but unfortunately not.
