Beautiful Beach

Just enjoyed the fantastic beach of Rhossilli. Open expanse of sand, hardly a soul about, except intrepid surfers and para surfers? Interesting watching them bouncing through the surf and twisting in the air and landing back into the waves.

Lovely Hotel but need to have some way of overiding a queue when 52 Saga Holidaymakers get off a coach and try to check ahead of you (those old people are so rude these days, and they complain about the "youth of today".) Anyway the barman was nice and the lager cold while we wated 25 minutes. Maybe it should have been on the house (worth a try for the future)

This visit to Swansea was an opportunity to do some walking, and the Gower Peninsular is an execllent place for it. It helps if one gets excellent weather which was the case this weekend. It also helps if one first visits the National Trust website where details of walks on the Gower may be downloaded.
