Short Break in Cardiff

Stayed in Cardiff the night before attending a Rugby Match at Bridgend. The Hotel had some very "rough edges" and I would not reccomend it to anybody else. The restaurant was awful, the choice and quality of food being extremely poor and the staff in the restaurant had a generic, terrible attitude problem.

As regular visitors to Cardiff, this hotel was one of our favourites. However, since being taken over by Park Inn, the standard has declined. The room was in need of decoration and even the TV did not work properly. The biggest dissappointment was the bed which had very uncomfy springs - they could all be felt and this led to a very poor nights sleep. Leisure facilities are OK, but once again in need of some attention -the steam room looks as though it has been on fire! My advice is avoid this hotel if visiting cardiff.
