This beautiful region is extremely diverse and quintessentially Welsh. Prestatyn is a great seaside destination shielded by mountains and surrounded by great countryside. Snowdonia National Park is fantastic for walking and Snowdon is one of the greatest attractions. Betws-y-Coed is a beautiful area offering waterfalls, hill-top lakes and ancient bridges.

Relaxing Pamper Stay

The idea of the stay was to relax and spend quality time together so we did not leave the hotel. The Spa was great, the massage was excellent and staff were friendly. On arrival they took our lunch order and asked what time we would like it served then explained what would be happening the next few hours. The massage was so relaxing and we could not believe how quickly the time passed. After the massage our light lunch, which was anything but light, was served to us in the Courtyard. We had plenty of choice for our evening meal and the standard of food and service was excellent. Again there was plenty of choce for breakfast and the staff were very friendly and efficint. The room was clean and spacious with tea/coffee facilites and a TV the only criticism was the shower - it was at the wrong angle and far to close to the edge of the bath which meant that you could not stand directly underneath it. Overall the staff was really enjoyable and everything we wanted - well worth the money and would recommend.

Snowden Area

The snowden area cannot be faulted for it's beauty. The hotel on the other hand was not up to the standard as advertised listed below are just some of the worst parts 1. The bed was so hard it was like sleeping on a concrete slab 2. The breakfast was so disgusting we couldn't eat it and had to eat out 3. The cleanliness of the hotel was substandard i.e Mould in the bathroom, pubic hair in the bath etc 4. The hotel is in need of modernisation 5. There was no bar just for guests and the locals made you feel a little uneasy

Visit to Swallow Falls and scenic roads around the area, spectacular views across the landscape. Many small villages to explore as well as towns like Lincoln and York, all worthwhile.

A wonderful weekend in Llanberris

The hotel was fantastic. On Saturday we climbed Snowdon in 4.5 hours - fantastic. The whole weekend was brilliant.
