This beautiful region is extremely diverse and quintessentially Welsh. Prestatyn is a great seaside destination shielded by mountains and surrounded by great countryside. Snowdonia National Park is fantastic for walking and Snowdon is one of the greatest attractions. Betws-y-Coed is a beautiful area offering waterfalls, hill-top lakes and ancient bridges.

Short Break in Bodelwyddan

Went to the hotel as it was adjacent to a wedding reception we attended. The night we arraived we had a dreadful meal at the hotel and had to complain. The wedding went well.

Fantastic weekend in Bodelwyddan Castle

We have just come back from a Warners weekend break at the above and everything without exception was fantastic, food, staff, entertainment, hotel rooms. It was one of the best weekends we have ever spent. The activities included shooting, archery, bowls, swimming, sauna, and the entertainment was first class. Would recommend this to anyone of any age young or old.

Staying in Ruthin

Having lived in Ruthin many years ago, we wanted to see if the place had changes much from being a small market town. The hotel room was fine and the restaurant menu had a varied selection of dishes. The views of the Clwydian Mountains are marvelous and still as we remembered them. The Farmers Market was interesting and I would recommend the coffee shop opposite the the 'oldest building'.

Snowden Area

The snowden area cannot be faulted for it's beauty. The hotel on the other hand was not up to the standard as advertised listed below are just some of the worst parts 1. The bed was so hard it was like sleeping on a concrete slab 2. The breakfast was so disgusting we couldn't eat it and had to eat out 3. The cleanliness of the hotel was substandard i.e Mould in the bathroom, pubic hair in the bath etc 4. The hotel is in need of modernisation 5. There was no bar just for guests and the locals made you feel a little uneasy

the hotel was great and the entertainment added to the pleasure of the break. this is an hotel that we could return to and also recomend to anyone
