Great Weekend For Rugby League Fans

The atmosphere in Cardiff was amazing. This was a unique event with every Super League club playing and fans from all of the clubs plus those from other clubs. The hotel in Newport was reasonably priced - no Cardiff rip-off here. Easy access to Cardiff by cab and train

Parkway is a nice hotel to stay at. The leisure club has a lovely swimming pool and the relaxation areas around it are very pleasent, however the gym is very dated and requires a significant updating of equipemnt. I feel that given it is a 4 * Hotel the restaurant operates at a level well below what is expected

We drove to the Breacon Beacons which is in the mountains, it was beautiful and peaceful, we found a lovely little pub which did great food and beer. Only disapointment was we went in February and the railway line does not open until March so we could not go right up into the mountains which I think would be fantastic.
