A popular choice amongst the Welsh seaside resorts, Llandudno is dominated by the Great Ormes Head, a huge limestone hillside at the end of the peninsula. It offers good shopping, the North Wales Theatre and of course wonderful beaches.

Lladndudno Break

If you are a person of a certain age you will "Love" Llandudno. The hotel has recently been refurbished and decor is plain and easy on the eye. The room itself was cramped because they had pushed a kingsize bed, chest of drawers, table, chair and an easy chair in a space where you had to walk sideways to navigate the room. The bathroom was about the size of the bedroom and was well equipped with power shower and plenty of fluffy towels. Bed was really hard and we found out on final day that a mattress topper could have been provided if requested. Breakfast was on par with most 4star hotels and the staff were pleasant. Easy access to all areas within the hotel and the location is excellent if you want to shop. Hotel to be recommended. Pity there is no pool or spa available, unlike the Imperial and Empire Hotels.

Weekend in Wales

The hotel was fine, the only thing we didnt like was the abrubt manner some of the staff had at meal times, also you felt rused, but overall the weekend was good dibite the bad weather, the entertaint at the hotel was very good

A Quiet Weekend in Llandudno

We stayed at the Imperial Hotel In Llandudno for one night and it was heaven! We 'escaped' from the grandchildren for a night and had peace. The swimming pool was lovely and I had it all to myself for 20 mins, the room was very nicely decorated with a superb en-suite bathroom. Food was delightful in their restaurant and the service was quiet and unobtrusive. Well worth considering for a peaceful weekend.
