Cardiff, the capital of Wales, is a diverse and cosmopolitan city. With Europe’s largest waterfront development, fantastic shopping, a 2000 year old castle and attractions for all the family Cardiff appeals to all. Cardiff is also home to the Millennium Stadium – an international sport & events venue.

A Musical Experience

A customer from EDINBURGH who stayed at 4* Cardiff Marriott Hotel in Cardiff wrote this review.

We sayed at the Marriot as it is Central. It is handty for buses to the Bay and other attractions. The hotel itself was excellent and the staff, especially the Indian Dining Room staff made us very welcome. We were able to visit the Millennium Centre and the Assembly building. We espacially liked the modern street furniture and the fountain outside the Millennium Centre. We visited Cardiff so that we could see and listen to the Welsh National Opera's performance of "Othello". It was stunning, with a top class cast, a superb orchestra and a sixty strong chorus which left you breathless. The scenery, especially the third act was unsurpassable. The OPera House matches the best in Europe.

Copthorne Hotel & Cardiff

A customer from HINCKLEY who stayed at 4* Copthorne Hotel Cardiff - Caerdydd in Cardiff wrote this review.

The hotel was excellent but it was away from the city and surrounded by retail parks. However, access to main road is good for traveling further away from cardiff. The links into Cardiff city and the Bay are very good. The Bay is well worth visiting with many attractions, great views and many restaurants
