Its beautiful countryside, spectacular beaches and fascinating history make Anglesey a great place to visit. Anglesey is also perfect for those that enjoy an active holiday with its diverse coastline.

Lake Vyrnwy Circumnavigation!

We hired bikes and cycled the perimeter of Lake Vyrnwy - just under 12 miles before the rain started. Excellent toasted panninis back at cafe. Walked several miles along the coastal path in Anglesey - miles of sea birds, butterflies, heather, gorse and other wild flowers. Wonderful walking country. Race the Train in Tywyn. An annual event where serious runners, fun runners and children take the challenge of racing the Tal-y-Llyn steam train up the valley and back. Great fun for everyone.
